1. Free Trial

All new subscriptions begin with a 7-day free trial. During this period:

  • You may complete 1 free CE course and receive a certificate
  • You have full access to the CE tracker and all features
  • No payment is charged until the trial ends
  • You may cancel at any time without being charged
  • If you don't cancel, your subscription begins automatically

The free trial course allows you to experience the full value of CounselorReady—completing a course, receiving your certificate, and seeing it tracked in your dashboard.

2. 14-Day Refund Policy

After your free trial ends and your first payment is processed, you may request a full refund within 3 days, provided you have not completed any additional CE courses after your subscription began.

Important: The free course you completed during your trial does not affect refund eligibility. However, once you complete any course after your paid subscription begins, you are no longer eligible for a refund—because you have received the primary value of the Service.

3. What Counts as "Completing a Course"

A course is considered complete when:

  • You finish all required modules or lessons
  • You pass any required assessment or quiz
  • A certificate of completion is generated for your account

Simply starting or partially viewing a course does not count as completion.

Note: Your 1 free trial course does not count toward this policy. Refund eligibility is only affected by courses completed after your paid subscription begins.

4. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial or prorated refunds are provided for unused time.

Refund: If you are within 3 days of payment and have not completed any courses, you may request a refund. This terminates your subscription immediately.

5. Annual Subscriptions

The same refund policy applies to annual subscriptions:

  • Full refund available within 3 days if no courses completed
  • No partial refunds after 3 days or after course completion
  • You may cancel to prevent renewal, but no refund for remaining time

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at legal@counselorready.com
  2. Include your account email and reason for the refund
  3. We will verify eligibility and process within 5-7 business days
  4. Refunds are issued to the original payment method

7. Exceptions

We may consider refund requests outside the standard policy in cases of:

  • Documented technical issues preventing access to the Service
  • Duplicate or erroneous charges
  • Extenuating circumstances (evaluated case-by-case)

All exception requests are reviewed at our discretion.
