New Jersey Ethics and Law for Professional Counselors
This course works through the New Jersey law that shapes counseling practice: licensure and LAC supervision, confidentiality and privilege, subpoenas, duty to warn and mandatory reporting, minors and parents, telehealth, and discipline. It flags where the law is unsettled and shows what to document and when to consult. It is designed to satisfy the 5 contact hours in ethical and legal standards that N.J.A.C. 13:34-15.2(a) requires each biennial period.
