EMDR Fundamentals for the Curious Clinician
A 2-hour intermediate continuing-education course providing licensed mental health professionals with a foundational, evidence-grounded understanding of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Covers the history and development of the approach, the Adaptive Information Processing model, the eight-phase protocol, target selection, measurement scales, contraindications, work with complex trauma, resource installation, and the ethical scope-of-practice boundaries that govern EMDR delivery. This is an introductory, didactic course; it is not a substitute for EMDRIA-approved basic training and does not certify or qualify any clinician to deliver full-protocol EMDR.
